North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
hope Fiz shows out this season now that free agency is over but i'm concerned that he's more of a motivational speaker than a modern day Xs and Os type of coach.

we should've got Mike Bud :yeshrug:

:mjgrin:He got too many distractions in his life. I mean how can you focus on X's and O's when you have to deal with her undressing in front of you every night :mindblown:

Unless Robinson develops a post game with a decent mid range don’t expect him to start. Fiz is not trying to lose his job to develop young players.

DSJ
Barrett
Knox
Randle
Gibson

Is likely the lineup for now.

Not buying it. Robinson was by far our best player last year. His job is to anchor the defense, grab boards, set hard screens and score easy points off lobs, putbacks, PNR, etc. And by that logic, Knox shouldn't be starting ahead of either Dotson or whomever (presumbly a 3&D player) they sign. Knox was arguably the worst player in the league last year and got plenty of playing time. There's been zero rumors of the brass firing Fiz in only one season of work.

At the end of the day, the Knicks wasn't getting a 26 year old Durant. He would've been 32 by the time he suited up for a regular season game.

He had to go to Golden State to play with a championship roster just to win a ring :mjpls:

He's shown he's definitely not loyal. SO why waste the time and money.

And the same with Kyrie. Lebron made him. He went to a young dynamic roster and the team digressed. If you ask me, its not the end of the world and more importantly, winning a title wasn't an automatic.

Raleigh by way of Crooklyn
Boston should be getting shytted on more than the Knicks though :mjpls:

Philly too for that matter. Both teams wasted picks and made bad deals with nothing to show for them.

That's what I'm talking about...Especially when you factor in that it was mainly talking heads pushing the whole "done deal" scenario. Truth be told, Mills and Perry stayed talking about building slowly and wisely. It was only Dolan's ill-timed comment of "we're gonna have a good offseason" that gave any false indication of confidence. I wonder if SAS will pause from mouth breathing about the Knicks long enough to mention the other teams.
