My biggest issue with last year wasn’t the losing if was the fact that we lost with mudiay kanter Thjr while not assessing the young guys properly and without Fiz seeming to have a real coaching style or game plan . The lack of defense was disgusting
This. It’s what pissed me off with Fiz, he was saying one thing then doing another for majority of the season.

We Had A New GM, A New Coach, An Outlook At A Good Draft Position, Young Talent And Room To Sign A Free Agent And He QUIT On Us, Phil Was GONE, I Don't Wanna Hear That "Losing Excuse" When Our Best Player Is On The Bench In A Suit For The Next 82 Games, Yeah Were Gonna Be Doing Some Losing

shyt Just Rubs Me The Wrong Way
Your talking about KP? I was actually just using that to shyt on phil . I thought KP was overrated to a degree and constantly said he hasn’t shown he can carry anything as he always gets hurt . He’s a.bytch though def

Yup . The culture was terrible and fukk phil for setting us back with his bull . He was out there throwing players under the bus for zero reason and we sucked.

Yup, Phil's tenure was disastrous and incredibly toxic for the Knicks. Phil essentially shaming Carmelo out of NY is still arguably the most disgraceful and shameful shyt I've ever seen from a gm, he made that questionable statement about Lebron's "posse", and like you said, he threw players under the bus for no fukking reason; how do you shyt on the product you helped put on the floor??????It was all just a finesse move by Phil, he never really cared about the job. fukk him.

Word to everything... I think one of my most depressed moments as a Knicks fan was when Dolan was interviewed by Michael Kay after the Oakley incident. He started asking about the team and whether or not it was a good idea to think about making some changes (i.e. Phil). Dolan basically said he gave him a five year deal, and it was Phil's show to run. We had already seen that FA's wasn't gonna listen to us because they ain't like Phil, we was probably gonna be drafting for this stupid triangle offense that Phil was obsessed with, so we wind up with Frank instead of DSJ. Plus his relationships around the league was trash, so outside of his former assistants, the former triangle disciples, he had nobody he could holler at to come coach... So we could wind up in a WORSE position after Phil's deal was up than when he got here. It was depressing to think about the future. But on the flip side, that morning that I woke up, turned on my phone and saw the news that Phil was fired was like :banderas::blessed::ohlawd::ahh:...... Then of course, I settled down and then realized we had still let him make the draft pick the week before.... :dahell::childplease::mindblown::martin:

Melo leaving was not bad for this franchise at all. He isn’t someone you want around young players on the court because he’s stubborn and refused to ever change his playing style.

The team also needed to hit rock bottom to get some high picks. With him we were bad but not bad enough and we’d end up with the 9th pick in the draft where you’re stuck with players like Frank and Knox

This is what I use to say verbatim. RJ is the result of tanking.......I wanted us to do it during that Doncic draft for Doncic but fukk it. At this point I am pretty damn sure the draft is fixed by the league.
