I feel like the Warriors are going to run it back.
The more i think about it, it’s more than likely Kawhi stays or goes to LA, KD stays in GS, Kyrie goes to Brooklyn and Philly keeps their guys. Would you guys be opposed to signing DLo and reuniting him with Julius Randle, if say they both sign for 20 mil per year?
I’d then sign Bobby Portis and resign Noah Vonleh, Kadeem Allen and Luke Kornet.

Russell/Barrett/Knox/Randle/Robinson
Smith Jr/Trier/Dotson/Vonleh/Portis
Frank/Allen/Thomas/2nd Rounder/Kornet

Aside from Lance, Dotson and Kadeem Allen would be the second oldest players on the team at 26. We’d have 3 lefties in the starting line up. We’d possibly be a 5th or 6th seed with everyone but lance on an upward trajectory. We could win and still develop, like the Nets and Kings did last year. And we’d still have around 20 million in cap next summer with a clear path to another max contract.

I wouldn't mind it at all. Though I'd probably skip on Randle. I like his game, but not his long term fit with Robinson (or at least the risk of them not fitting together at Randle's price point).

Randle+D'lo wouldnt be a bad off season at all. I'd try to sign Randle to like 15 mil a year tho, I'm not his biggest fan but I cant deny that he's gotten better each year. I'd rather sign a cheaper vet over portis though, and roll some extra cap space forward ( unless Portis comes cheap himself), but either way it all sounds like a good step towards trying to build a winning culture, I'd be down with it.

I would love Dlo on this team. We desperately need a PG, and he would fit our young squad.

I would call up the suns and see if they willing to give us that 6th pick for DSJ, then draft Culver or Reddish and make them your 6th man or make knox your 6th man. Or hope hunter drops to 6th and have him start at the PF.

Who would you sign at the 4 this summer that would fit better and still fit our timelines? Morris would be great but too old.

I'd probably go for a short term fix that doubles as a veteran leader (be it by character or grit) rather than commit long term money to the position. I think there are some good options that wouldn't cost much and probably could be had for a one or two year contract. But with Mitch in hand, I'm thinking our long term PF has to be able to shoot to maximize our offensive units.

I hear you. My only interest in randle is making the playoffs next year without selling the future to do so. Not sure Russell can do that alone, nor with whoever else we could sign.

I'll take Randle but not DLo. Probably get Morris or another big though. I think we could hold off on getting another PG because we have enough guards. We could build our strengths around Mitch in the meantime.

I was going to say that Mitch and Randle would hurt each others spacing to much. Randle needs to be around a center/PF like KP who could shoot the 3 on offense and defend the rim. Which is why I think the Mavs go for him hard this offseason. Marcus Morris honestly might be the best PF you can put around Mitch cause he is a versatile defender with an outside shot from mid to 3 pt range.
