What kind of bullshyt ass technicality is this? :gucci:

If there is any fukking justice in the world, a team calls Brooklyn's bluff and maxes DLo out on day 1 and the Nets let it happen, Kyrie goes and his tinfoil hat go to LA, a healthy and fully capable KD comes to the Knicks and the Nets get left empty handed with all Tier 2 FAs going elsewhere.

fukk the NBA bruh. This shyts supposed to be cyclical, when the fukk do the Knicks get their turn back on top?
Would you sign D'Lo to be our primary PG if Kyrie went to the Nets? I've considered the possibility and am unsure

I would and don't know why some people wouldn't. He gives you 21, 7 and 4 as a 22 year old and was an all star, and he's gotten progressively better each year he's been in the league, you're rarely, if ever, gonna get a chance to sign a guy like that fresh off of his rookie deal. His max is gonna be around 28 mil a year and he's producing at the same level as a few other players that are gonna get paid more this year, and D'lo still hasn't even touched his ceiling. I'd prefer D'lo to Kyrie to keep it real; He might not be as good as Kyrie but he isn't a mercurial headcase either.

Russell is not a max player, he played like hot garbage in the playoffs but since he's not a Knick and is a former Laker media and social media gave him a pass. He was shooting 35% from the field and almost had same amount of turnovers and assists.

D'Lo's the ONLY FA I'd go after if we're out of the KD mix. If we're not pairing KD with a Kawhi or Kemba, I'm swooping in for D'Lo, he's basically filling in for the role of Porzingis timeline wise, and resign some of our guys and go from there

Mitch/DJ or Morris Twin
Vonleh/ trade for a 2nd 1st rounder and grab a 4 prospect, Luka is who people seem high on
Knox/Hezonja
Barrett/Trier/Dot
D'Lo/DSJ

Hope that these young pieces develop into stars and ride out the storm of jokes from there.

Russell is better than anyone on our squad:yeshrug:

would be good if we could give him about 20-22 a year

True getting DLo would be the Knicks all in on the youth movement. Not the worse thing at all. Though the media is going to kill the knicks

I wouldn't mind seeing him, RJ, Knox, Mitch together. :hubie: Be

Do you guys think KDs injury is worse than initially reported?

Not being a professional athlete by any means, I tore my calf playing ball mid July of last year and I wasn't right again walking wise until around September, where walking didn't result in swelling and drainage and all kinds of shyt, let alone getting back on the court. PT, accupuncture, chiro, all kinds of shyt. No clue the severity of his injury, but if it's anywhere close, the second I heard calf strain I figured he'd be out for the rest of the year.

Given the access to treatment he has though, I'd imagine it could certainly be expedited, but why bother when you have a squad that can handle there's and you're on the cusp of this contract?

Assuming the injury is exactly as listed, I'm not surprised by how being out this long in the least.

I've been saying that on a few forums. I do, its probably just an Achilles or calf tear which is not career ending, but it's not the type of injury you want to sign a 31-year-old player to a max 5-year contract.....

To me its the most obvious catalysts for Kyrie ditching the plan everyone swore by for month to go to BK, and the Knicks talking about Kawhi and secondary targets like Morris and Rozier.

I disagree, if it was legitimately that bad (to the point where pending suitors have to take it into consideration) he wouldn't have begun individual drills a week ago.

People just ran with the excitement over it not being an achilles tear without acknowledging that a severe calf strain can easily put you on the shelf for a month during the regular season.

The Nets plan to pair Irving and D’Angelo, he’s not going anywhere.

My prediction for this offseason is Kyrie goes to the Lakers and Durant signs a 1+1 deal with GS.
