The line was way too long..so I said nah I’m good and left :russ:

If I'm being objective, the tape is good. I see why people like it. I feel like he did this to get the respect of the hip-hop purist crowd and it's actually working. I salute him for stepping out of his comfort zone. This is not the bag I like hearing Larry in tho as a fan and I will probably never listen to this shyt again straight through. It's not one of those for me. Just being real. I'm putting my favorite songs on a playlist and waiting for the next shyt with Cardo, Sledgren, Cookin Soul, etc.

This shxt is a snoozefest. I hate these slow beats and no drums. Someone call Cardo please. Bad job Larry.

Same here. They have a great chemistry, and alc has some dope beats, but I only got about halfway through it before turning it off and switching over to Big Bossin vol 2 during my commute to work this morning.

Action Bronson is terrible, he actually has a fan base? lol

Larry has lost that unpredictability to me, which is what initially drew me to him.

Yeah i cant get into this album at all. I’ve tried many times but i just end up switching to something else half way through.

It sucks as a long time fan but had to take a step back and say I get it. This is the most love I’ve seen him getting so far, which is good to see. It’s the current in Hip Hop sound more people are into, just not my vibe. I will stick with the older projects for now. Can’t be too mad cause he has so many albums not like I don’t have more than enough music to play.

That’s the only song I added to my personal Larry June playlist from the album.

I’ve must of played this 50x by now

I’m a start to look at his other albums, Made me a fan

He's definitely not for everybody. However, I always tell people that are interested in giving him a fair chance to listen to his mid-career projects in their entireties. If I were to be introduced to him by clicking on random youtube singles I probably wouldn't like him either lol. I think Mr Midnight is his most accessible project followed by

Adjust to The Game
Out The Trunk
Product of The Dope Game
Port Of San Francisco
Early Bird
Cruise USA
Larry June x Cookin Soul

He's got a gang of other albums out too, but this is the run (2019-2021) where he was the hungriest and he really started coming into his own.

I'd say his premium run of music started with Port of San Francisco. He went on tear from that point on.

Older albums like Early Bird & Very Peaceful got some gems also.
Larry reminds me of Le$ it’s either a hit or a dud, but you can find a few jems on the duds but with this one…. Pure piff
