TBH, I'm not the biggest fan of his new stuff. He's lost the lightheartedness and experimintation his music used to be full of, and just comes off as another generic smoothtalk/moneytalk rapper most of the time now imo. I'll always check for him, but his 2019/2020 albums were really his peak, though he's reinvented himself so many times, I'm not going to count him out just yet. Those songs you posted were during his good run though
I actually agree with this. A lot of his newer shyt just isn't as good as that 18-20 period. He getting access to so many people now and everyone wants him on their shyt it's kind of effecting his solo music IMO. Not that it's bad it's just not as good and as motivational as it use to be. I still enjoy the music b/c he has some bangers every now and then these days (Intercepted, Hotel Bel-Air, Grand National, and more I'm forgetting at the moment). He also attracting a lot of clones as well.

Technically, Curren$y started this whole sub genre :yeshrug:

There’s a clear distinction between Dom, Spitta and Larry. But that Chapped (pun intended) guy is a few comedic bars away from being a Larry parody.

Edit: I’m gonna give westside Webb a listen because although the subject matter is the same, there’s a clear distinction.

To bad 100s went left, I fukked with his shyt.

The fact y'all keep checking for rappers. Ole washed azzes. Rap is a rollercoaster lil 3 mins of fun for the folks who make it economically possible for your favorite rapper to live a normal life.

He doesn't really sound like Larry imo, the beats and image are spot on though :yeshrug:
