Taya and Toni Storm need to have a match over a Naughty America contract.

Its not just that. Dudes are victims of the loss of the territories/the lack of major promotions. The indies are a poor, poor replacement. If you check out old AWA and old WCCW at the Sportatorium even Smokey Mountain to a lesser degree those crowds were made up of families from grandma and grandpa all the way down. The only promotion that's left that approximates that is WWE.

There were different people there and you had to get over with different types of people so you had to work on your look to stand out, as a babyface you had to be able to sell to get sympathy from the women as a heel you had to do everything possible to piss off the guys. Now that's all gone, the only people who bother with the indies are the Meltzers of the world whose tastes have always been niche anyway (even by wrestling standards) and smarks amongst whom there's a giant contingent of retards whose barometer of quality is whether or not the picture they have of Vince in their heads would like something or allow guys to do it, if the answer is no then it must be good.

So you have guys coming up learning to work for this super niche audience because they're the only ones paying to see them and they need them to create a buzz so you end up with goofy 160lb main eventers and 300lb guys doing 450 splashes for no reason in Cirque du Soleil matches with "haha isn't wrestling stupid" spots in them because they're working to please trolls. That's where the disconnect happens you have guys who've spent their entire careers prioritizing shyt that the majority of people who actually watch wrestling now and the majority of people who have watched it at some point just don't give a shyt about.

Most of these performers will peak on NXT. Then when they make it to the main rosters they will always have to take a backseat to legends/crossover athletes.

Were those D-Von's sons in one of the pics?
Yeah that was them.

Here's one of the brothers during a promo test:

Aside from the Hughes Brothers a couple other AEW Dark folks were there too. I saw The Renegade Twins and Nikita Knight who have made multiple appearances on Dark.
