I hope this lean addicted generation don't turn to heroin (the cheaper stronger opiate alternative) later down the road.
It's on tmzwhere is the source/link to the article?
Yes 100%Not tryna be funny but 1st off are you black?
I disagree strongly
Yes 100%
I'm tired of this blame the white man for every problem in the black community bullshyt.
I'm from Texas so I know all about sipping syrup. The white man ain't got shyt to do with the popularization of that.
Those MIXTAPES back in the late 90s out of Houston's SUC they always talked about pouring up. These were independent 100% black owned labels.
Big Moe dropped a song called Purple Stuff and back then a lot of folks didn't know what the fukk he was talking about.
Three Six and UGK dropped sipping on some sizzurp, again this was a black label with black people making the decisions.
Fast forward and it's all Wayne talk about in his songs.
Future naming albums and mixtape after it. Black man on a black label making decisions on lyrics and content.
You can't blame this on the white man.
We popularized this.
We did this to us.
When Pimp died from a syrup overdose they asked Bun B would he tone down on the syrup talk and would they remove that content from future UGK releases and Bun B and said "Whatever a grown man wants to do and say is what they chose to do with their life."
So naw man...
Ain't no white man pulling the strings on this...
I know cats that almost stabbed a man to death to steal his SUV to go drive it thru the front of a pharmacy just to go steal the syrup and sell it on the street.
But they stole the wrong shyt.
Good points but I simply disagree overall. I get what you sayin but I 100% believe that hip-hop culture is being used as a conduit/vehicle to intentionally promote and glorify criminal/destructive behaviour to the black community.Yes 100%

Thank you. I've spoken on hip-hop cultures negative impact on black minds many times. You're not saying anything I disagree with
You don't know your HISTORY...
Over 15+ years ago you had black owned labels promoting the image...
Youre gonna have a heart attack you idiot
Be a junkie brehs
I didn't purchase any of that. I doont buy drugs. I just attain them.So because you can't find a job you purchased a redbull, nodoze, xan, and codeine syrup you fatherless loser.
