Exactly, the whole situations interesting, but Dorners moves don’t sit right with me.

The objective of war is to disable or destroy your enemy right? Well what sense does killing family members of your enemy make? You’re not disabling or killing your enemy, you're simply making your enemy more enraged and determined, you’re making the battle harder for yourself. A solid nikka at war wouldn't have done what Dorner did in my opinion, what Dorner did seemed to be out of anger and impulse as oppose to well thought out strategic process.

Ethically and strategically speaking killing innocent relatives of your enemy is wrong and makes no sense to me, I hope the people cosigning that bullsht are playing and don't really think sht like that is justifiable in anyway.
i see what you're saying but i don't think his objective is to kill his enemies right away. I think his objective is to destroy their souls and make them suffer like he perceives they have made him suffer. it's almost like "death would be a kindness, I'd rather make you suffer" type of thing. maybe the way he sees it, he's been through hell mentally so he wants the same for them. the news even said he called the girl's father (the girl that was killed) and told her "You should have protected your daughter better". Imagine the pain the father is feeling. He would probably rather be dead.

Imagine the fear the other people on the list are living in. for themselves as well as their loved ones. Imagine the panic and despair they will feel if in a few months Dorner still isn't caught and protective custody for their loved ones is lifted. imagine him waiting a year, two years constantly thinking of the words in the manifesto "element of surprise", "when you least expect it" "never had a family of my own, so i will terminate yours" and imagine a year later when people start to get laxed, someone else ends up dead, the nightmares start all over...

I don't know if that's what he's aiming for but it seems like it and in my opinion, it's even more cruel then just killing them.

then again, he might get caught too. I think he shouldn't be underestimated just like he shouldn't be overestimated.

Dorner manhunt: Mayoral candidates want probe of ex-cop's claims about LAPD - latimes.com

Candidates for mayor of Los Angeles called Saturday for an investigation of allegations of LAPD racism that were made by a fugitive former police officer who is suspected of killing three people this week.

Several said an investigation of the full circumstances surrounding the Police Department’s handling of fugitive Christopher Jordan Dorner was warranted. They spoke in response to a question on the matter at a candidates forum at Crenshaw High School.

The department announced Saturday evening that it would reopen its investigation into its firing of Dorner, which apparently prompted his vengeful rampage.

“Any allegations of racism and discrimination ought to be investigated within the LAPD, no matter where they come from,” candidate Kevin James, an entertainment lawyer, told an audience that filled the school library. James, the first to field the question, said nothing about the vast regional manhunt underway to capture Dorner.

“If you’ve got someone that will step up, and talk about the problems, talk about the inequality, talk about the discrimination, admit it, like people in public office are so afraid to do, then you can change it,” James said.

City Councilman Eric Garcetti said trouble with racism among officers had diminished in recent years. “That doesn’t mean that it’s a perfect department or that things can’t get worse,” he said. He promised to ensure “an internal investigation on this,” but did not define its scope. As for Dorner’s alleged killings, Garcetti concluded, “We have to make sure that justice is served there too.”

City Councilwoman Jan Perry urged the crowd not to lose focus on the risk that Dorner poses “to all of us, regardless of our race or ethnicity.”

“Yes, there should be a review and a public analysis of what happened in this particular case,” said Perry, the only African American candidate on stage at the forum. “Because it may be what you call a teachable moment about changing your protocols in dealing with individuals who may have manifestations of stress…or mental health issues that were never properly or adequately addressed. And then they pop out 10 or 15 years later in a manner like this.”

A fourth candidate, Emanuel Pleitez, a former technology company executive, recalled growing up on the Eastside, saying police had stopped him and his friends for no reason when he was growing up. “I know a lot of people that grew up with a deep hatred for LAPD,” he said.

“It’s a serious thing in our communities, and that needs to be addressed. Now yes, LAPD has taken strides in the right direction, but absolutely, there’s more to be done.”

One of the top candidates, City Controller Wendy Greuel, did not attend the forum. A spokeswoman said Greuel had a previous engagement, but supported the LAPD's reopening of the Dorner disciplinary case.

A report filed Friday by the Los Angeles Police Protective League showed the union has spent $305,000 on independent TV advertising for Greuel. As a result of spending by the police union and other big-money donors waging an independent campaign on Greuel’s behalf, the city Ethics Commission announced Saturday that it was lifting the $2.8-million spending cap that previously applied to mayoral candidates who accept city matching funds.

Removal of the cap was required by law once total independent spending for a mayoral candidate in the public matching program exceeded $309,000. For now, the only candidates in next month's primary with more than $2.8 million to spend are Garcetti, who has collected $3.7 million, and Greuel, who has raised $3.6 million.

You know what your right breh. Im looking at this from an competitive point of view, when I should be looking at this from a retributive point of view.

what you are saying cosigns what he said about marksman being the lowest(assuming navy uses the exact terms the army does).

I know. He is an idiot. I literally looked at his post like :dwillhuh:. Shh maybe I am wrong? :ohhh:

doesn't mean he sucks at shooting a rifle though :snoop:

That's exactly what it means. Obviously you've never fired a rifle and if you have and marksman is good to you, you cannot shoot for shat.

Dorner manhunt: LAPD will give new truck to women shot by officers - latimes.com

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck will provide a new truck to two women injured by officers in pursuit of fugitive ex-cop Christopher Jordan Dorner, a police spokesman said Saturday.

Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, were delivering newspapers in Torrance early Thursday when LAPD officers riddled their blue Toyota Tacoma with bullets. Hernandez was shot twice in the back, and Carranza sustained minor injuries from broken glass.

Beck has called the incident “a tragic misinterpretation” by officers working under "incredible tension” hours after Dorner allegedly shot three police officers, one fatally.

At the time, Dorner was believed to be driving a gray Nissan Titan.

Hernandez has been released from the hospital and is recuperating at home. Cmdr. Andrew Smith said he and Beck met separately with the two women Saturday. The truck will be purchased using money from donors, Smith said.

The action does not necessarily preclude a lawsuit from the women or a settlement.

The women's attorney, Glen T. Jonas, said, "The family appreciates that Chief Beck apologized on behalf of the LAPD."

At a news conference at LAPD headquarters Saturday, police officials said they have formed a joint task force to find Dorner, who at one time was believed to be in Big Bear and has since eluded capture.

In addition to the Riverside police officer, authorities believe Dorner killed a young Irvine couple in revenge for his firing from the LAPD four years ago. The father of one victim is a former LAPD captain who represented Dorner in his review hearing.

More than 50 LAPD personnel named in what authorities say is an online manifesto by Dorner continue to receive police protection, Smith said.

Also Saturday, the LAPD said it will open an investigation into Dorner's dismissal, including his allegations that his training officer kicked a mentally ill man during an arrest and that some of his fellow police officers were racist. The investigation will also include issues raised in the manifesto that were not part of Dorner's personnel file.

In a written statement, Beck said he is concerned that "the ghosts of the LAPD's past" will be resurrected by Dorner's allegations of racism within the department.

"I do this not to appease a murderer. I do it to reassure the public that their police department is transparent and fair in all the things we do," Beck said.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officials continue to look for Dorner “under every rock, in every corner” and on “every mountaintop,” said Christopher Vicino, assistant chief of the Riverside Police Department.

“I’m certain we will catch him. It’s just a matter of time,” Vicino said.

The burned pickup belonging to Dorner that was found in Big Bear had a broken axle and weapons were found inside, authorities said.
The truck is being processed by the Irvine Police Department, a police spokesman told The Times on Saturday afternoon. Another law enforcement officer confirmed that weapons were found inside the truck.

Extra security will be deployed at Sunday’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles “just to be on the safe side,” Smith said.

I remember awhile back we were discussing police brutality or something on here and when I spoke about the LAPD pulling over my uncle and beating him up, one guy claimed :duck::duck::duck:

:ld::ld: if you black/mexican, you already know how dirty the LAPD can be:wtb:

All of what is happening now is just highlighting how corrupt the LAPD gang really is

How is this dude still alive.

And his rifle skills gotta be better than that, damn. Even I shoot Expert.

Naw breh. Homie shoots marksman lmfao. Obviously you have some military knowledge. I was interested into what these posters were talking about then I looked up his record. :leostare:

He is a Seaman Reservist  Salute his service all the way but civilians need to understand not everyone is Rambo in the military. You have cooks, lab techs, doctors, lawyers. People who shoot a weapon, once every 6 months. People who never go to the field. People who push papers. Are they tough? Hell yes. They put their lives on the line and can be called up at anytime. But not everyone does. His military training? :russ: Dude I see no SERE school in his files. His survival skills are grossly overrated. Navy has the SEALs and the SWCC guys. Really the only two that are combat outfits. If you want combat training in the Navy, YOU WOULD JOIN THE MARINES.

I'm hearing reports he has aviation skills. :smh: He was in Aviation units, which is possible since the Navy has :krs: aircraft carriers. Doesn't mean you can fly a plane.
