Exactly, the whole situations interesting, but Dorners moves dont sit right with me.
The objective of war is to disable or destroy your enemy right? Well what sense does killing family members of your enemy make? Youre not disabling or killing your enemy, you're simply making your enemy more enraged and determined, youre making the battle harder for yourself. A solid nikka at war wouldn't have done what Dorner did in my opinion, what Dorner did seemed to be out of anger and impulse as oppose to well thought out strategic process.
Ethically and strategically speaking killing innocent relatives of your enemy is wrong and makes no sense to me, I hope the people cosigning that bullsht are playing and don't really think sht like that is justifiable in anyway.

it's not like their superiors can make them chill. they're completely losing control.
in my humble opinion (and i don't know shyt about shyt when it comes to that type of shyt) they need to allocate A LOT of FBI resources to find this dude. Not because he's so good and so dangerous, but to protect the citizens from the LAPD! the sooner he is caught, the sooner the LAPD will stop shooting at people that vaguely match the description (and it seems like in most incidents, they don't match at all!). the LAPD seems like a bigger threat to the citizens then this dude at this point. Once he's caught, there needs to be a full investigation on the incidents as well as dude's claims to calm the population down as well (seems like more and more people are rooting for Dorner online and the police is not helping their case in all of this...)
the problem with that is that it would send the wrong signal to people. Basically it sends the message that if you go on a rampage and make threats, the FBI will be more inclined to investigate your complaints. it's a catch-22 in a way...
