Thanks to the lawyers uh, I marbled the foyer
Despicable
Blame deregulation. This family would have already owned a home if down payments weren't near or exceeding previous amounts to buy and own the home. 60k+ used to be the house. Now it's the down payment. It’s all bad on both sides. Half of these tenants are manipulating the eviction system and are literally sticking the finger out the window and not paying rent. Half the landlords raising the rent $1000 a year.
American real estate industry needs a revamp

You can get a 3 bedroom home in other parts of the country, you would just have to live around the most racist people you've ever met in your life. That's not an option for many people in America.
Not every cheap real estate area is full of rural rednecks ready to lynch black folks. I live in youngstown oh, 42 % black population. Houses cheap af out here.In those parts of the country, you be a target of a hate crime and literally be dead before the cheap mortgage would be paid off. That's the shyt that @UpAndComing won't ever mention to you.
Used to??? this shyt still happens to this day, just more slick and organized to avoid lawsuits and arrests. Hell, the large management corps have cops on the payroll.A certain group of people who wear they're hats extra small used to do that all the time in NYC in the 70s-90s.
I’d be careful with that too, I was reading about a owner that hasn’t been successful in evicting an Airbnb guest because she knows how to work the system. Businesses have no rights besides what’s in the lease. It's also why alot of landlords love airbnb. I know now with the rules in nyc and other cities it quells that but previously yeah.
looks like someone's right about scumbag landlords
This really is the way to go. Folks (case in point, the psycho this story is about) wanna cut corners to maximize profits. As someone who knows folks who rent property, they would all say the same thing: the overhead for decent property management is a small price to pay to save u the hassle of doing this stuff urself. They handle the rent, notify and can refer/assist u in any concerns about the property that may arise, and handle evictions and screening new tenants. All for literally just a small cut off the top.Would it be better to work with a company that can do property management? If I ever get a chance to own and rent out a property, I do not want to have to interact with tenants. Burning down your own property is some spiteful shyt
He has the same last name as the landlord. Gramps just didn’t let his family in on his dumb ass planShatfiqul Islam, whose relationship to the suspect is unknown
I said the Same thing, dealing with ppl is beyond annoyingGrandpa used to be a landlord for several properties. said it was the worst job he ever had.
If you going to get into property rental you are much off doing with commercial property. Renting out to businesses>>>>
