Once he is convicted, and I hope he is convicted, make sure his sentence times are consecutive instead of concurrent. I want him to do time for every person in that house, and perhaps entire building, he attempted to kill over not receiving rental payments. Also, force him to sell that property and the profits go towards aiding the people made homeless by this in finding new homes.

He had legal means to resolve his problems without placing anyone's lives, especially children, in jeopardy. Any sympathy I would have had for him before his heinous act, went out the window when he decided their lives were worth less than his anger + missed revenue.

Corporations have been able grab huge swaths of multifamily properties in cities because the landlords no longer want to deal with the headaches. When there are threads about corporations as landlords, this never comes up. People are cashing out, and not looking back.

This landlord is indeed a demon for endangering the lives of that family.

I can guess what kinds of loopholes they might have used to avoid eviction. And he still has to pay mortgage, taxes, utilities, maintenance the entire time. House is probably in the process of foreclosure. He snapped, and will likely die in prison.
