Let's answer this: If my friend was down bad, he could stay how long he wants as long as he takes care of his surroundings. :yeshrug: that's my boy. If I couldn't sustain living for 2 people, I wouldn't offer to take him in to begin with. Let's apply the logic in this situation. It is foolish to keep running a business that is only sustainable if everybody pays services.

Y'all Landlords should be first to run up on some banks. If Tenant don't got no money, there's money is going somewhere else.

Oooh logic

Any business

Goes out of business

If you have all the costs

And zero income

Do me a favor before you type another word. Think of an example of a business that can stay in business by doing what they do for free

Real stuff Breh. Bowling alley. Salon. Automaker. A real life business.

Then circle back to the word "logic" cause I don't think you're using it right

People are trying to make it a “personal relationship”, when it’s more so business.

She lives in the apartment that’s generating rent and frees regardless of whether she has it or not. Therefore, it’s her responsibility to make those payments or leave. It’s that simple.

Exactly. The landlord took a major risk investing into properties that they cannot afford. Point, Blank, Period.

The landlord needs to contact the bank or advocate for a mortgage freeze. Evicting them does nothing for the landlord. If we are in the middle of a pandemic, what if no one moves into your property? You still taking an L.
People are renting like crazy, believe it or not. There is no "what if"?

Too bad the “friend” in that situation typically doesn’t handle his surroundings and that’s why that scenario usually doesn’t pan out
