The 1997 winner (Ullrich) got caught.
The 1996 winner (Riis) didn't get caught but admitted doping his entire career. He was the one who got the whole steroid suspicions started... Only motorcycles could stay with him in the mountains in 1996

I'm glad he beat cancer and I'm glad he inspires others in life.....but at the same time, I could care less about cycling and being from Texas the media love this dude gets is too overwhelming.
