I think some of you guys are underestimating the amount of marketing and branding it takes to sell shoes...
Like I understand pulling for the kids but don't shyt on people who take the deal too because it's a good investment. unless you are an absolute superstar
Steph can't even get his UA's off the ground...and that's with millions behind him
With that said, LaVar is a great marketer and as good as any hypeman I've seen
But you also have to take into account how many shoes are being sold. BBB is not really trying to compete with or sell the same amout of shoes as Nike or Under Armor. They'd only need to sell a fraction of what Nike does to be a success.
Also the thing about Lavar to keep in mind is that he's shown himself to be a great at getting free marketing. Lonzo's first shoe was more talked about and is more well known than Steph's shoe and it didn't cost BBB a dime to promote it.
