This kid hasn't made it yet. Plenty of hoop players get shoes but not all of them take off. Jordan was the man that's part of the mystique of his shoes.

Let's be real here this kid was just given this shoe as a kid just because. That's why he's the first high schooler with a shoe deal cause it was given to him.

With that said, LaVar is a great marketer and as good as any hypeman I've seen

Steph has a great deal, ownership stock and design consideration for his shoe. Unfortunately most athletes don't get that deal or the JOrdan deal.
That said if Steph wanted to launch his own shoe company and sell direct, or if PG wanted to do it or Durant, they could do it, but most people rather get easy money from being an endorser and not have to deal with the risk or the greater reward or failure of going at it on their own.
