It's never been about the OC. Lamar just has a limited skillset.

The Ravens have blown out their opponents in 2 of the games so they didn't need to pass much. Lamar is averaging 297 yards per game in the 2 close games (Cincy and Indy).

2023 Passing (12 game pace): 2382 yards, 12 TDs, 4 INTs.

He threw for 202 against Indy and 237 against Cincy. You are adding in his rushing yards which is the key thing with Lamar.

If you're rating him it comes down to if you're talking strictly passing or his ability to run and pass.

It's also true though that the Ravens have never implemented a pass-dominant scheme with LJ and still haven't this year despite getting a new OC.

Joe Burrow is injury prone. There is a double standard that Lamar gets criticized for being injury prone while Joe Burrow has a worse track record for injuries.

Either way, Lamar is looking nice this year once his team invested in receivers. If you gave him Chase and Higgins, he is winning the MVP.
