People got used to the video games numbers since the rules changes of the early 2000s. Defenses have caught up a bit and there's also a lot of bad QB play.

People forget what the stats used to look like.
Early 2010's you mean..stats were still normal in the early.to mid 2000s and even late 2000s. It really changed in 2011 where the pinball numbers became common and multiple rookie QBs entered the league excelling when that was pretty.much unheard of aside from Dan Marino, Peyton Manning and Big Ben.

IF JERRY RICE NEVER WON MVP
NO WR IS EVER WINNING IT

I agree.

Tyreek would have to not only have been fully healthy but break the rec yards record COMFORTABLY and had 15-20 TDs while also all QBs played like shyt without any of them having a definitive edge. Plus somehow Tua would have had to have gotten hurt or played bad enough that he wouldn't get the MVP because he'd reap all the stats and accolades of Tyreek's crazy season.

Too many factors going against WRs winning the award, really.

Until they come up with a qb of the year award no other position will ever win it. And if they don’t want to do that then atleast come up with a award for the other skill positions

This a play that i see every sunday lol

Nice play but nothing crazy

Those posters are goofy. He ran away from a slow defender, had plenty of time to see the play develop and set his feet, and then made a normal NFL throw to a wide-open receiver. He was even a little bit behind him.

It was a good throw that you point out in the game but talking like it makes him an MVP is silly.

:mjlol: Purdy-haters crazy. 23 year old last pick in the draft that has been slandered all year long as a checkdown merchant game manager who can't make plays and is an MVP fraud. And yet, that's as good a play as anything Lamar did in his MVP-making game yesterday. In fact, if Lamar did this yesterday, everyone would be pointing to it as an MVP-crowning play. Brock not MVP but y'all gonna give him his due

49ers MVP candidate was C-MAC. Dual threat guy that was on pace for 2k.

Brock one dimensional...so he needs more stats and came up short in a couple big games. It seemed like Brock and McCaffrey could have been co-mvps at one point.

We should look at offensive linemen for MVP this season....but the voters are probably swayed by media and fan expectations.

He aint gonna put up 12 TDs in two games so the reality of that is borderline fantasy.

Hes literally out of the top 10 in every QB stat.

So unless the NFL changes the way they select the MVP, he aint gonna win it.

confirmed that coli in 2023 doesnt know how the MVP award works :mjlol:

u in the moment ass nikkas getting expose badly this year :francis:

Lamar can win out and still wont get the MVP because thats not how it works. his passing numbers are average. But ill let u tell it how it is :mjlol:

I hope he wins it, he deserves it. Lets pray the NFL changes its voting system this year.

This fukking dork :mjlol:

shytting on Lamar and his MVP chances the entire thread. One game later….

“He deserves it”
