It's like many here didn't actually watch the game. The Bucs had about 1:30 on the clock and down ten points. They had recovered one onside kick already, and had a great attempt at their second one. We saw the statistics about the Ravens being the worst team with onside kicks.
Was it likely the Bucs would tie it or win? No, but this wasn't as egregious as many here are making it sound.
