Again- this is why some women don’t trip off this foolishness.
This is game that a lot of chicks don’t get. The same way men tend to switch the type of women they chase when their money changes is the same way a lady has to pay attention to different men as she gets older. That doesn’t mean you date bums as soon as you hit 40. It does mean you understand that the 40YO men who are popping are chasing the 30YOs, so you need to look ahead to the 47ish/50YO brehs who are handling business and keep themselves up. Like, the guys in my family who are late 40s/50 are still in the gym, making great money and they date women within their age range. But all of those women look good and have great careers, too.
Not a “humble brag” at all, just speaking from the perspective of women from “HV” families. You’re raised to be the “full package” so you’ll never be that woman fully dependent on a man who may suck, and so that you can attract the right kind of guy and hold his attention because you aren’t an airhead who depends on her looks.
I have successful men in my fam who make it clear they don’t date women who don’t have professional degrees, and I have successful men in my fam who have housewives who stopped after HSLol

Who actually thinks an attractive woman with a good attitude AND education/skills is going to have a hard problem attracting/keeping a man?! Who thinks a rational man has an issue with a beautiful AND intelligent woman birthing and rearing his children?! Lmao
The women who don’t get it are the ones who don’t understand being cute & dumb has an expiration date, or having an education&money doesn’t trump attractiveness/fitness and humility.
We all have to adjust our game. Some people are simply too self-centered, ignorant or lazy to analyze where they are and make adjustments to get their desired outcome.
Porsha was referenced above and while I do NOT like how she ended up with her hubby (way too much mess and drama), I will give her credit for eventually figuring it out and going for a different type of guy.
Again, Amal Clooney is a great example. Attractive woman with a booming career. You think she didn’t have men trying to holla at her because she was over 30 with a busy career? Naw. Babygirl literally knew what she “brought to the table” and ended up with a global star who was looking for beauty & substance.
Or even Omorosa! People talk about her attitude, but I’m sure none of the successful brehs she’s dated/currently married to have a problem with her attitude, because she knows how to treat a man. She just gives white folks hell on reality tv.
And of course I didn’t like her stint with the Trump administration, but again, that didn’t stop her from keeping it tight and securing a successful older Black man.
Beauty, humility & intelligence (of course traditional skills/qualities as well) is the full package you strive to be because you will almost always be taken seriously by serious men.
