I def want this Bynum deal to go down...I'm iffy on a Pau deal. We need depth and youth, and to get Pau off the books. Perhaps we can knock out all 3 objectives in one swoop.

This acquisition isnt changin anything in the west, lakers got older, have no bench kobe wll have to play off the ball and be a shooter

A guy who never shot 50% EVER will have to be a shooter now

kobe has never shot 50%, so what? Look up Jordan's numbers when he was in the playoffs and finals. I guarantee you he wasn't shooting 50% either and he was still winning.

How many perimeter players in the league shoot 50%? You are picking an overrated stat to look at. As long as kobe shoots around 45 percent which is his average and hits the shots he needs to, the lakers have nothing to worry about.

You also forget that kobe put up 42 points on 60 percent shooting in game 5, tell me who else has done that other than lebron this past postseason.

Nash is 39 so what? His game is not reliant on explosiveness like flabby and sick wade is. Check Nash's stats last year, It puts him in the top 5 pg category easily and he shot pretty much 50% from the field.

Jordan shot 55% and 54 % in the finals while averaging 41 ppg and 35 ppg

Get your facts right

So what lakers were down 15 and kobe had zero assists

Name another player with 31 shots and 0 assists and gets praised for that trash performance while losing

Never said he wouldnt

Again nash will be 39 next year, lakers starting backcourt have 34 years in the league combined

This aint 2k12 lakers have no bench and need shooters for nash to be effective

Thunder still better than l.a. unless they get dwight

LOL at trash, 42 points on 60% shooting is trash now? Wow the hate is strong.

You say kobe had 0 assist, but assist are overrated too. Assist are reticent on your teammates actually knocking down the shots when you pass it too them. I'd advise you to rewatch that game, kobe was dishing out enough it was his teammates that were not knocking down the shots.

And you must not have watched alot of lakers games last year if you think kobe can't acclimate himself to be a spot up shooter when he needs to.

Take away lebron's shots in the post and lebron isn't a 50% perimeter shooter either. Like I said, how many perimeter players in the league actually average 50% when you take away their post game?

I didn't say assists are not worth anything but they are based on your teammates knocking down their shots when you pass it to them. If they don't knock down their shots you don't get the assist. Is that hard to understand?

*see's back and forth with kobe/laker hater*

*Already knows fact are unimportant to these specific haters*

That's fine. Kobe will probably get back to his normal 45-46% shooting range. Don't see how that is going to be a problem.

Let's not act like this is the last move the Lakers make this offseason.

I honestly think Kobe can be a good catch and shooter, he'll make adjustments, he wants to win...and he has a good enough J from midrange, but I expect his 3 point FG to go up anyways....and at this point, I'd say it's an above 50% we get Dwight...Orlando wants Bynum badly, and I just dont see Mitch passing it up, especially if we can get some quality bck also...
