lol funny how ORL wanted no part of bynum now they basically begging for him Mitch Da Don gonna make them fakkits pay for not taking that first offer :win:

Orlando should really try and do that deal, now that the Nets have started making other moves bynum for D12 (and possibly someone else) is still their best move by far

Bynums upside > any trash the nets have to offer

Since when did they want no part of Bynum?

They were so interested in Bynum that (allegedly) they told Dwight that if he didn't opt into his contract they were going to trade him to L.A. for Bynum.

Bynum is one of the more sought after players in the entire league. Damn near every trade the Lakers look at sees the other team asking for Bynum in exchange and it's been that way for the past 6 years.

He's gonna be 25 and entering his eighth season. Throw the word "potential" in the bushes regarding Bynum.

Will Howard even be worth it?

Dude is a diva, had a major back injury, doesn't want to be #2 and doesn't want to follow in Shaq's footsteps.

Nah, i give him two more years to progress. He may be in his 8th year, but he has gotten better every year. I honestly like Bynum, but we can't have him and Pau just lumbering down court. He'd fit best with an athletic 4

And he can't knock down Free throws....

Lets also not forget that it doesn't change some very fundamental problems with this Lakers team...Still no consistent outside scoring besides Kobe.

If they can get Dwight to opt in for one more season and toss in Q Richardson I'd be a bit more in favor of the bytch nikka being traded here.

In that situation I wouldn't want Pau shipped and I'd be cool with just going after a decent PG whose a decent shooter (unlike Sessions).

You don't really have leverage though. They apparently don't want Howard unless he signs the extension, so Howard really still has more leverage. Unless a shyt team takes him & just prays he will sign after the year, any team other than Brooklyn is shooting themselves in the foot making a deal for him.

Bynum had the knee of a 27-30 year old 8 years ago

Nah I think finally being healthy going into the offseason will let him strengthen it even more. His problem was he was injured every offseason and didn't get to truly build an NBA body in what the last 5 years or so.
