I saw fukk it wait till Olympics to trade Pau hes gonna beast in the olympics raise his stock until Kobe shyts on him and his country again

Honestly, THAT's the shyt that frustrates me most about Pau. He'll disappear during the playoffs then go overseas and beast during those tournaments.

I was a bynum stan but dude just doesnt have passion and fire to be an all time great. I think we need to trade him not pau since he will get us more back dude is out there just collecting checks

I think Bynum would stay because he's younger. And coming off of an All-Star season it's hard to justify letting him go. But I agree, he doesn't seem to really care much about winning, there's no passion and fire in his eyes. It really ticks me off, but Jim Buss loves the guy being that he was the one who picked him out of h.s.

Because he's playing against other soft dude like him. He's in his element.

Even at earlier points of the NBA season he'll be doing great. At the start of the 10-11 season dude was playing MVP caliber ball then he just progressively got worse as the season went on until he just disappeared in the post season.

I KNOW he can do better because I've SEEN him do better.

That's what's most frustrating.

I remember that and also remember Kobe starting to chuck and phasing him out and putting him back a the children's table. His confidence was shattered.:rip:

I think that Mike Brown's system really killed dude. When Pau isn't comfortable in the offense, he doesn't play defense. When Pau's feelings are hurt, he doesn't play well period. I think when they made the finals 3 years in a row, Pau let everything roll off of his back, but since then he holds on to everything I think something horrible happened that we don't know about.

I guess that thread where dude was clamoring for a Lakers/Heat final will be getting merged into this thread shortly as well.

Lakers
NBA Rumors: Gasol being mentioned most.

• No veteran is being more aggressively shopped than Pau Gasol, but at this point, the Lakers are merely seeing what might be out there for the veteran power forward. Most sources believe if there’s a deal involving Gasol, it’s likely to take place during the free-agency period next week -- or even shortly before the start of training camp in October.

• This is by no means to say the Lakers are just looking to dump Gasol to the highest bidder. But they do realize that Kobe Bryant is getting older, and they’re hoping to get younger while increasing their odds for a title within the next year or two. After center Andrew Bynum, Gasol is their best asset.

• The Lakers have also had conversations with other teams about small forward Metta World Peace, but the interest is low, according to sources. Initially, it seemed, the Lakers felt like they could use the artist formerly known as Ron Artest to move into the No. 25-30 range, but that no longer appears to be the case.

• While the Rockets are said to be stockpiling picks with Magic center Dwight Howard in mind, they have not completely given up on the idea of landing Gasol, despite several reports to the contrary. Both the Magic and Lakers would want veterans off the roster, as well as the picks, according to sources. Forward Luis Scola and guards Kevin Martin and Kyle Lowry are Rockets who have drawn the most interest.

• The Grizzlies have also dangled forward Zach Randolph in an attempt to land Gasol, according to Pete Vecsey of the New York Post. It doesn't appear the Lakers will bite.

• Back to the Lakers. One source insists they’ll stand pat during the draft, dump some salary later, and land a free agent next month. The source mentioned center Spencer Hawes (76ers), shooting guard Nick Young (Clippers), point guard Kirk Hinrich (Hawks) and power forward Kris Humphries (Nets), as possible targets. “They seem to be figuring out what to with Gasol first,” said a source. If not, a deal between the Warriors and Cavs could happen, he added.

• Also, if the Wizards select shooting guard Bradley Beal with the third overall pick, expect the Lakers to find out what the price might be for current Wizards starter Jordan Crawford, said a source.

• Grizzlies shooting guard O.J. Mayo could be on both the Lakers’ and Celtics’ radar as well, said a source. Mayo is a restricted free agent, meaning the Grizzlies would have three days to match any offer.

NBA Rumors: Gasol being mentioned most

Also the Utah Jazz seem to be interested in Mo Williams:

The Utah Jazz have emerged as the potential third team in the Los Angeles Clippers' ongoing trade discussions to acquire Lamar Odom from the Dallas Mavericks, according to sources close to the process.

Sources told ESPN.com that the Jazz are willing to take on Mo Williams in a three-team trade scenario that would send Odom to the Clippers and enable the Mavericks to shed Odom's salary without taking back any salary.
