Why would Wade be motivated? They can't even guarantee he'll be healthy, there's talk he might not even play in the Olympics. And that bench is still ass.

I'll be damned if the Lakers are going to JUST take Lowry in that deal. I'd want Lowry and Scola. Hell you'd have to throw in Scola just to make the trade work because Lowry gets paid so little.

There's definitely a risk with Lowry though because there are questions about his health.

Lakers wouldn't go for that simply because they'd be taking a big hit on the cap for the amount of talent they're getting back.

If Houston is willing to trade Lowry/Scola for Gasol straight up that's solve our PG problem (I'd let Sessions walk), give The Lakers a decent front court with Bynum/Scola and actually free up a bit of cap space.


The more I think about this actually seems like some shyt Kupchak would do. Plus with Houston shipping out Budinger they need Pau more than ever.

Yeah I know, his contract is bad, but at least we'd get some in return halfway decent to play the 4.

dudes need to trade Lowry and picks for Tyreke and #5 to kings then give us tyrke and #5 for Gasol

Sam Amico of Fox Sports reports that if the Cleveland Cavaliers leapfrog the Washington Wizards by trading with the Bobcats and select Bradley Beal. Washington will consider sending the #3 pick to Lakers for Pau Gasol. I dont know who we would select with the pick, but I bet the Lakers strongly consider MKG here.
