The thing is even though you're claiming these guys are garbage they're still elite players in this league. It's gonna be hard to get enough value back in return.
Dwight has made it clear he doesn't want to come to the Lakers.
Deron is open to coming, but I'm convinced you'd have to send Bynum to the nets to make that happen.
You can get a few solid role players for Pau, but nobody is going to send a younger superstar and take on an aging Pau with a monster contract (dude gets paid more than LBJ).
Bynum is almost dangerous to trade for anyone outside of Dwight simply because he's so young and has so much potential in an era that weak at that position.
that post drips with wisdom, and i do totally agree with you
we're damned if we do, and damned if we dont,
we trade bynum, he actually grows some nuts and starts being a beast, we look like fools
i totally dont disagree with you, i just think it's a risk we need to take, i mean bynum actually said he didnt come prepared to play in a playoff game, who says that #1, and its not like this kid is 18 nowadays this isnt his first rodeo
i think its a very slippery slope regardless of what the lakers do
Dwill would be a huge upgarde over Sessions, i would be happy with him, What we need is kobe to realize he has other ppl who can perform and defer more.. i give kobe a lot of the fault of the current state of things but at the same time, im sure kobe is looking around like, none of these guys have any nuts/heart and are not clutch so why SHOULD i pass them the damn ball?
- Ron needs to be a beast on the boards, beast on D, and stop jacking 3s
- Kobe, defer more, shoot 12-15 shots a game, try and facilitate more, be more a leader than a ball dominator
- Pau i lost the last bit of respect I had for him after LAST years playoffs when he laid a big fat egg
- coach sucks, im not a fan of him
- Dwill >>>>>>> sessions (i can only hope)
- bynum needs to go, even though as you said, it's a risky proposition which i totally agree with, i just dont want him on the team for numerous reasons, he spits in the face of all the lakers who helped build this team / organization into what it is/has been
