Thunder has a very good team and chem behind them. That's filed and understood. We have brains on our team with Nash, Kobe and gasol. But more importantly the ball handlers most offensive plays will be run on the fly because Nash and Kobe won't have mike brown talk to them about offense. It's just gonna be about players understanding spacing and being ready for dimes from Nash. Sht could you imagine the triangle with nash?

Lakers haven't practiced yet and it's determined they won't have chemistry?

The people saying this are obviously scared.

Plus people keep mentioning Payton and Malone as if the team got knocked out in the first round....that team went to the finals.

Steve Nash is still an elite PG in this league and Dwight Howard is just entering his prime. Plus unlike Payton, Nash isn't going to be asked to fit into a system that doesn't properly utilize his skill set.

Them posting in this thread is just a sign of how dope this team could be...If this team wasn't shyt and had not chance of doing damage this upcoming season they wouldn't have shyt to say.

Notice none of this chemistry bullshyt was being thrown around when people thought Dwight was going to Brooklyn.

Notice how nobody was talking about Nash being when everyone thought he was going to the Knicks or Mavs.

Notice how nobody had jack shyt to say about Dwight's back until he was traded to the Lakers (in August) even though he had the surgery WAY back in April.

The shyt about his back in particularly funny considering that he was playing with a fukked up back a good chunk of the last season. BEFORE his surgery during his final game of that year, Dwight scored 20 points, pulled down 22 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and had 2 blocks.......with a bad back.


The only valid critisisms I've seen for this team is the lack of depth at the point, the potential for injuries to our older players, and Mike Brown's general ineptitude.

Worthy has agreed to be the Lakers’ primary studio analyst during games this season on Time Warner Cable SportsNet, the Lakers’ new TV home for locally broadcast games.

Worthy, whose No. 42 is one of seven numbers to be retired by the Lakers, has worked on Lakers road pregame and postgame shows for KCAL/9 since 1999. Now he will be working with TWC SportsNet studio hosts Chris McGee and Andy Adler, among others. McGee (@Geeter3 on Twitter) was a presence on Lakers telecasts with Fox Sports West last season and is a longtime expert on the beach-volleyball circuit.

The Lakers will have far more extensive preview and wrap-up shows on TWC SportsNet than previously on KCAL/9 and Fox Sports Net. Miami heat took a whole year to get chemistry right.They made the finals in 2011 cuz of talent and they also didnt have a 39 and 34 year old starting backcourt or a team of the thunders caliber standing in their way

Don't get upset because a few rational people arent dikkriding the lakers

And didnt the suns sign n trade nash to the lakers? Didnt the cavs sign n trade lebron to the heat? Didn't the raptors sig n trade bosh to the heat? Smarten up and dont be so emotional

If dwight dont want to stay in l.a.He will leave as a free agent and the lakers will sign n trade him to dallas

Lakers chemistry will have to be a work in progress if dwight is out the 1st month or 2.The heat playing sloppy and going on multiple losing streaks their 1st year together was an example of how important chemistry is.Luckily for them they played in the east with no legit threats to stop them

Lakers don't have that luxury
