No he's not done, he just doesn't play well with Bynum...Pau wasn't having this problem until Bynum started getting more minutes and Pau was getting forced out of the low post on the offensive end.

It's not a coincidence that when they're not on the floor together they both tend to put up much better numbers.

Pau as 3rd option is a perimeter player. So why not get a true stretch 4 with more heart than Pau?

If we were actually keeping Bynum I'd agree but the Lakers are looking to swap him out for Howard.


Howard is far more athletic and a better passer than Bynum. A lot of problems Gasol and Drew have when playing together wont be an issue with Gasol and Howard (especially with Nash at the point).

Good point, with Dwight owning the paint defensively Gasol doesn't have to do shyt. After a few weeks of playing around Nash and Dwight, Gasol will have enough value reclaimed to make a flip for our remaining holes on the roster.

What the fukk you think they spent most of last season trying to do? I've been saying I don't mind getting rid of Pau, but comparable players need to be coming back in return and so far the only deal that gave us that was the veto'd Chris Paul deal.

In giving up Pau the Lakers would be sending out a big who has one of the best post games in the league, can distribute, is a great rebounder, and is a decent defender. The Lakers would need to bring in two or three players who can give us those same skill sets.

I've said before I think Bynum might end up being better than Dwight one day, but right now Dwight is better and a big part of that is that Dwight shows up damn near every night.

Drew by his own admission takes games off.
