Doesn't make your statement any less dumb since the guard selection is just as deep or deeper than the forwards. And with no KD next year and PG likely playing the 2, he'd be more likely to keep his All-NBA streak going by staying a forward but this doesn't work for your hate-fueled narrative.

I semi-called this days ago. It makes complete sense with the lineup they're building.

Rondo might play well enough to hold his spot, but I can easily see them going to a crunch-time lineup that puts LeBron at the point with any two of Green, KCP, and Kuzma as the other wings, or even having all three on the court and kicking AD down to the 5.

Now with Bradley on the team too it makes even more sense.

Will he guard the other teams point guard?

That would be dumb. They have 3-and-D guards now (Green, KCP, Bradley) who don't handle the ball. It's the perfect team to have 2 of those guys on the floor to lock down opposing guards while LeBron plays the point.

Why do they need him at point if they got Rondo and Avery Bradley now

Rondo is there to run the offense on the bench and be a player-coach type figure. He can also run the offense in games that LeBron rests.

Bradley was never there to run point, he's a 3-and-D guy like Beverley.

Old dumb narratives are still dumb. LeBron spends less time with the ball than most elite point guards. Last year he was 78th in the league in possession per touch.

And a LeBron team has NEVER had a #2 scorer who stood in the corner. Just a stupid narrative. There are only two corners on the court, you should have guys in the corners or moving towards them most of the time, but that's only 2 of your 5 players. Bradley/Greeen/KCP are there to fill those roles, and honestly Rondo and Cousins should float out there in the right sets too but they won't sit there.
