It's obvious what @houston911 is getting at, but you do take this angle of responding to the most irrational people far too often these days. It's like when people only retweet those with stupid criticisms. Then you're in the minority then because her looking how she looks is a source of disappointment to some of your brehs
His point is simple, something like 90% of white women marry white men, and most would never think of marrying a black guy. Yet, so many of these famous athletes thirst over the first white woman that pays them attention because being an athlete has shielded them from the everyday issues of being a black man. There is nothing wrong with marrying someone outside of your race, but the only time you'll ever see an income gap like that in an interracial couple is when the black dude is balling. People just hate to see these guys make millions and then end up in a relationship which tends to represent a lack of race-consciousness on a social and economic-level. Listen to how Blake Griffin said the Clippers should have reacted to Sterling then listen to how CP3, Wade, etc., fell about it. Moreover, it is almost impossible to fully understand and be prepared for raising a black child if you don't have any black friends. Most of these women do not and it shows.
But on the flip side, I suppose you cannot expect every person to want to represent a powerful image or race/class-issues, etc. People a lot on these guys because of their platform and you know that. Why you choose to be purposefully obtuse all the time is beyond me. I'm starting to think you're honestly just ignorant of the issues or you're unable to get past the anger to see the root.
