Now me personally, I couldn't care less who he chose, but for a lot of brehs, regardless of fame or money, etc ... they choose who is choosing them, and they choose from what they have to choose from. Randle went to a private Christian academy, and while I don't know how things work in the detractors' necks of the woods, but based on what little I know, if you're at a school like that, and you aren't a top-flight athlete, chances are, you're white. Now, there's an exception to every rule (see: LeBron James meeting Savannah in high school), but that's how it generally works.
He met the chick while he was at UK, and it was a dumb move to get locked down as a freshman in college. That's the prime "exploration" time. But again, that comes from teachings and shyt like that from one's role models. For him, that's older white males that either bankrolled his AAU career (and thus kept the heat of his mom) or his private school shyt (based on what I know, I doubt his mom paid it alone, not without a scholarship or some kind of assistance). In the South, especially from what I've seen, white people marry young. Dumb move in my opinion, but that's what they do. And not to mention, we have no idea who he was knocking down prior to school as some people get entrapped by the first woman who tosses it at them (which seems to be the case for Cameron Payne, as, hoopster or not, he is objectively speaking not the most handsome individual

I say all that to say this, what's the issue with him doing that? Curry and James all locked down people they met young. Hell, Kobe Bryant made the same decision when he was about this age. For them, it worked out. Maybe it will for Julius. Let him cook.
