this is actually true. Alot of yall think Africa or any other black immigrant nation/people will welcome you with open arms just cause youre black.
Thats completely farthest from the actual truth.
Everybody is black over there, distinctions are made deeper than that and they dont look at you as one of their own.

Where did you get that idea that we Nigerians hate AAs? Most of my black friends and associates are AAs. While some.may act brand new upon coming to America...believe me that's not the majority. Cause seriously when the time comes we can't afford to be divided or hate on each other...that's what they want. Just cause you've had one negative interaction with a Nigerian couple does not equate to ALL Nigerians being like that. HELL...If I was like that...I wouldnt be associating with you...now would I? You've just got a bunch of AA posters in these threads who believe everything they hear read and see on American media about Africa spouting off their misinformation and drawing faulty conclusions.
It's obvious you don't pay attention to news about the continent and the nation's within it...or the inner politics of the land. Now I don't watch American TV especially in regards to Nigeria or any African affairs cause their only point is to deliver misinformation to support a biased narrative to paint us as inhuman savages, disease ridden, warmongers, scammers, literally the embodiment of everything negative. I have to thank my dad for putting me on to more relevant news sources about Nigerian affairs (he travels there from time to time to deal with family and business abroad). If I had to only watch American TV to learn about Nigeria and go on a couple experiences I would have the same muddy picture a lot of you have.

Unless a people percieves you as dumb or uneducated you would usually get love but when you get more personal with it they dont accept you as one of their own. Youre basically a white person with dark skin.
Ive spoken with quite a few nigerians and they all say the same thing. They look at western blacks as a different people. Even some native haitians would call me (a haitian-american) a blanc (which means white)
Dont get me wrong theyre conscious of the racial tensions all blacks similarly face around the world, but they dont live that constant reality that we do here (that we are all one). Primarily they think draw divisions if youre part of 'their people'. Either youre haitian, or youre jamaican or youre nigerian etc
