Moderation isnt that much relative.

If you are neutral about a man who plays video games you will be able to tell what is the moderate amount.

In your case you have a bias against video games so your judgement is a bit off. No offense.

Your bias is making your judgement a bit off. Moderation doesn't have a set amount which is what makes it relative. My opinion is just that. It's not off just because you don't agree with it. What's really interesting is that you would think its "off" for an adult to prefer reading, socializing, real life interactions etc over virtual ones.

My bias isnt what it used to be.

Back in high school you could say that I was biased toward video games but now I havent been into video games like i used to be so im closer to neutral about it because to me its just another hobby as long as its not played excessively.

Yet looking at your posts you are clearly against video games which shows obvious bias against. :yeshrug:

I dont think its "off" for an adult to prefer reading, socializing, real life interactions etc over virtual ones since Im close to neutral when it comes to gaming.

Part of moderation is balancing real life with the virtual. To judge moderation of something you have to be neutral or close to neutral towards it.

I just think that your judgement isnt neutral because you have a bias against video games.

The last paragraph was the only thing relevant to what I said and in it you seem to agree with my sentiment so nothing else needs to be said.
WRONG, because you've already made your bias against men who play video games. You never said men who don't aspire to play professional are wasting their time. You said men who spends hours on games are wasting their time.

Your claim was it doesn't add value to their lives to play games and when I corrected you, telling you that a lot have a career from it, you did your verbal gymnastics.

It's cool for you to not like video games and don't like seeing men spend a lot of time on them, but it's foolish for you to say "I prefer a man who doesn't play them because is a waste".

Im pretty close though thanks to me practicing moderation once I left high school.

When it comes to drinking, video games, tv and even spending money me making sure I do everything in moderation and not overdo any and it has helped me greatly.

Balance is key. An open mind is beneficial.

I don't really mind as long as ur not consumed with it 24/7.
That's ones of the reason my niece and her ex divorced. That dude was obsessed with Call Of Duty. Stayed up all night playing it, was the first thing he did when he woke up or when he came home from work. It was ridiculous. She would complain but I never knew how bad until we lived together.
All fukking night long, even with the head phones on you could here the noise not to mention the random outbursts.

He's more than likely playing with a squad of friends. I've combed through the thread and noted your posts, so you know about COD and multiplayer and the like so I think you'd have a better understanding than the other females about how much the social element adds on the hours when you've got a squad and everyone's in there talking trash and flipping out over bullshyt that's either funny or ridiculous.

It's in the same vein as hanging out with your friends at a game, club or at dinner 'cause of the conversation and it gets ADDICTIVE. I remember one time me and my friends were on like a 50 game win streak in COD Black Ops1 and none of wanted to log off 'cause we wanted to see how far that shyt would go, Wife/girlfriends/sleep be damned.

But yeah, home dude you was talking about took it too far though.:whoa:

You and I have different life expectations. I am glad you have found your form of moderation. But mines are different. I am not trying to stop you but I wouldn't take anyone seriously who did that. The fact that you can't see my point yet I can see yours is telling. You need to apply that last sentence to yourself.

I am going by experience and not theory as a player and as someone who has dated them and I have yet to meet a man who plays on the reg who is worth the time nor have I found the time I spent playing benefiting me in any meaningful way.

I just find that it reflects a particular mind set as do (but not the same as) men who are overweight or have multiple baby mothers both of which I also avoid. Are there some in those 3 categories who don't fit the paradigm? Sure, but not enough to warrant giving the majority a shot.

I see this hobby as a turnoff..

It is so addictive and not productive. I've never entered a long term relationship with anyone who has this hobby.
So a breh who plays games isn't gonna get to see the action you do in your videos?:wow::mjcry:

I already applied that last sentence to myself which is why I said this:
Yet its your choice so it is what it is.
Its clear that you dont like men who plays video games at all and thats your choice and Im not trying to convince your otherwise.

It just that if you dont like a man who plays video games at all then even a man who plays video games in moderation will not interest you is what Im saying.. :manny:

But you also called my opinion "off." That's not what I would considered open minded.

Probably your concept of moderation yes. But I have never denied it. :yeshrug: My preference is none. I've openly stated that.

What I mean by off was me stressing your bias against video games.

It doesnt look like you are close to neutral about video games either.

Regardless you said I was off b/c I don't agree with you. That's not a statement you make when you're being open minded. Why is my having a different opinion based on experience "off"? How many men who game have you dated? How many have you dated that don't. I'm guessing none on either side. I have a different vantage than you. I've also heard men echo the same sentiment b/c they enjoy it but think it is too time consuming. Are they "off" too?

We can agree to disagree but don't insult my opinion based on a prospective you will never experience and then call yourself open mined especially when I'm not stating anything out of reason.
