I hate it. Some is okay but an adult wasting days doing something that adds no value to their lives is ridiculous.
:snoop: Some adults make up to 200k in 1 day from playing these games that "add no value to your life"

Shame someone's hobby because you don't understand it brehettes

And what percentage of people is that? :usure: I understand video games very well. I haven't played Halo in over 10 years but last year my then boyfriend wanted me to play with him and I murdered him. He was on the floor in shock.

I LOVE the SIMS. I would spend days non-stop playing, downloading new content, finding all kinda of cheats.

But then I realized that I was playing life and not having one. Then I realized that the time I was spending could be used to create a better life for myself, become more social, become more knowledgeable and experience life in new ways.

I deleted YEARS worth of beautiful content :sadcam: and never looked back. My life has be more fulfilling in ways I couldn't imagine. Sorry there are hobbies that are better and add more value to life. I know b/c I have been on both sides. With the time I use to play video games I learned about flipping storage lockers which eventually lead to developing my own products and working for myself. None of which would have happened if I would have continued to spend my freetime playing games.

Don't assume you know me or my experience. There is nothing appealing about an adult who spends a lot of time playing games and they will not be dating me. If TV in general is a major part of your life in general, you won't be dating me either.

I don't really mind as long as ur not consumed with it 24/7.
That's ones of the reason my niece and her ex divorced. That dude was obsessed with Call Of Duty. Stayed up all night playing it, was the first thing he did when he woke up or when he came home from work. It was ridiculous. She would complain but I never knew how bad until we lived together.
All fukking night long, even with the head phones on you could here the noise not to mention the random outbursts.

Knew this Cac chick while in the Army whose husband was almost the EXACT same way. This bytch literally told us one day she stood in front of him butt ass naked ready to smash and he was like "Move out from the front of the TV your gonna make me Die:camby:"

She ended up cheating on him and divorced while he was in Afghanistan and married one of the guys she was cheating with:mjlol:

I'm so glad I "raised" or "taught" my sisters to appreciate gaming while we were coming up. Its probably why both of them got snatched up and married super quick lol. Nothing more attractive that a woman that understands and can appreciate the passion a guy puts into gaming. Most women just see a guy screaming or fixated on a screen. But when you have a woman that knows frame data recovery on moves, status effects, skill points and properties of items and moves.

:banderas:

Even women that just like to watch story mode and cheer their man on:lawd:

Most men who game like that, hardcore and competitively have the personality traits to be successful it just takes awhile for the gaming to kinda fade out. I understand the headache alot of women have with it though, gaming def helped ruin the relationship with the only woman I ever truly loved.

I still play fighting games and a DOTA competitively I travel around the states to enter tournaments. In fact next up is Orlando and then vegas.

I use to come home sit in front of the tv and practice combo's for 1-2 hours easy. Like literally the same thing over and over to perfect it. Then travel on weekends to local tournaments or ones in near by states.

Now I dont have that type of time but I still enjoy gaming over all. Any woman that doesn't or can't appreciate that:camby:

Lol I used to force my sister to play Streets Of Rage and Golden Axe with me. Now BOTH of my sisters are gamers and like to play with their boyfriends. I'm a good brother:myman:

Its all about moderation as with any hobby and interest.

Its basically something to relieve stress and can be another way to connect with others.

Not that Im trying to get you to change your mind or anything.

You know nothing if halo and Sims were your examples. Lots if games are like sports and people play them like a job because for many IT IS a job. It's their income and they love very lovely off of it.

You sound just as silly as someone who tells a basket ball player "why you play so much basket ball, it adds no value to your life". Folks play these games so they can become better at them, because becoming better at your job earns you more money.

You don't understand how electronic sports work and you made that clear with your assumption that someone playing games all day everyday is wasting their time.

Now if they don't aspire to be a pro gamer and they're wasting 8 hours a day on a game then that's different.

The last paragraph was the only thing relevant to what I said and in it you seem to agree with my sentiment so nothing else needs to be said.

I understand that. It use to be my hobby. But there are better more fulfilling hobbies. I have dated men who play them and men who don’t and I can tell you dating men who don't is better. I won't be dating a man who does a lot of gaming period. If you spend the weekend playing video games I'm not interested.

Well with moderation means that you wont be playing video games a lot. :ehh:

Yet its your choice so it is what it is.

Modernation is relative and so is"a lot". More than one every few weeks is too much IMO.
Moderation isnt that much relative.

If you are neutral about a man who plays video games you will be able to tell what is the moderate amount.

In your case you have a bias against video games so your judgement is a bit off. No offense.
