Ladies what do you think when people say that "women don't know what they want"?

of course I disagree lol

Men say that because they want all women to be one way. For example, if one woman says she wants one thing then another says she wants something different, a guy will say that women don't know what they want. I don't think men realize that not all women are the same. They think we're objects all made by the same company.

I don't think its any truer for women than it is for men. I think what happens is that people accept men's wants as reasonable no matter how contradictory and hypocritical, while people don't accept women's.

For instance, a man can say he wants to have sex with everything that moves but when he gets older and wants to settle down he wants a virgin. A virgin who keeps him interested in bed like a porn star. Nobody questions it, everybody is like :ehh:makes sense

A woman can want a man with an edge but that treats her well and is faithful and everybody's like :pacspit:do you want a good man or a thug, you don't know what the fawk you want
See above.

It's truer for women and always will be. Sure there's degrees to this in both genders, but as long as the majority of your decisions come from an emotional place, then indecisiveness is expected sometimes. It ain't even necessarily a weakness, which is were the offence/defensiveness lies here and with most back n forth topics on this funny forum.

Starting a point with but but but men are also, just weakens the argument. Im open to listening to why its not the case from a female pov whilst not pointing at 'brehs'.

Agrees with a post admonishing someone for generalizing proceeds to generalize. :dead:

I said degrees didn't? Just like my lungs and and a smokers lungs are not the same but both still lungs.

Your emotions are your first point of reference.

Still haven't told me what you want. No counter, void.

It's a statement made by a man who was with women who didn't know what they wanted so therefore every woman doesn't know what she wants. I know exactly what I want and always have. Even down to my career. As a child, if u asked me what I wanted to do as a living I would have given the same answer.

Funny that men are excluded, but many of the answers are "because men this and men that". Interesting convo, but would've been better to bounce this off of men, especially when the "people" in the title are men.
First you deride me for being "passive aggressive" then when I'm aggressive I'm emotional? :dead: Men are ridiculous.
The opposite of passive aggresive is direct, not aggressive.

I disagree. Now, kindly exit.

I think media gives you the illusion that relationships are much less complex than they actually are. So as a woman you spend a good deal of your childhood believing in the pipe dreams of love. Prince charmings and shyt like that. It's only when you become an adult that you realize shyt gets real. It's not easy and when you're not on the same page with a person, aside from sex, it's really not worth your time.

With that said, I still think relationships are EXTREMELY valuable. With the right person, it can be a means of stability in various areas of life, that becomes necessary as you get older. Sometimes I feel I want to put in the work necessary, but other times I don't. So when I say I don't know what I want, I mean I haven't settled on whether or not make an effort at a relationship or not.

Its true to a certain extent, I mean I think a lot of times these types of women may think they want something but don't really understand what it is that they are asking for. This comment is only said by men after being nagged or broken up with for being true to who you are, like you hear a lot of people describe wanting a tough guy or gangsta but describe him as edgy or a bad boy or some shyt, then get mad when he lives up to his name.. like some women think thugs or gangstas have a switch that they can turn off when around them, but in reality they are crazy all the time.. but ofcourse no one in here would ever date a thug.. The smooth talking playboy is expected to not use his skills anymore cause he is with you, but women don't realize those types of dudes will always be that way... IMO

Reading through this thread, my interpretation is that it's more of a matter of being specific about what you want them knowing what you what.
