I don't think its any truer for women than it is for men. I think what happens is that people accept men's wants as reasonable no matter how contradictory and hypocritical, while people don't accept women's.
For instance, a man can say he wants to have sex with everything that moves but when he gets older and wants to settle down he wants a virgin. A virgin who keeps him interested in bed like a porn star. Nobody questions it, everybody is like
