I got my tongue pierced the first time at 22. Had it in for years. Took it out for a job interview and the whole closed up completely within a day.
About a year later I had it redone. The piercer was horrible. My tongue hurt like hell. The swelling was really bad and it looked off center. I took it out because I was scared it was gonna get infected. Then scare tissue formed (a lump i could feel) so I was scared to repierce the same area.
About 2 years after that I went back to my original guy and had it done again. No problems.
I eventually took it out for an MRI. Left the bar out for less than 24 hours and it closed up.
Where the tats at? Where are they?
