Ladies, How Would You Describe A Man That Got His shyt Together?

Based on the thread's question: If I were trying to determine if a guy had his shyt together, then i'd ask what kind of plans/goals he had for life. If his reply was "I don't have any, i'm content with life right now". Then I'd feel some kind of way about that. I'm not going to argue with him or anything but my personal assessment of him wouldn't be good.

I personally don't think that's possible for people to be content with where they are now...maybe out of hopelessness. Even people who are doing well have plans for the next phase in their life. It could be learning a language, traveling , making a purchase, etc.

I've personally never met someone say they are good with their life now but there could be some out there.

You can be happy with where you are, I'd have a problem with someone who's never content with themselves. There's a big difference between continuing to have goals and having the ability to be happy with where you are and what you've accomplished, living life in a perpetual state of discontent seems pointless.

Yes, but Rob isn't a man yet. He needs to stop looking up to this forum like it's the bible & he needs to stop thinking that every girl except his mother, grandmother & baby niece is a whore (his ex made him think this way). But yeah, he needs to grow up & realize that everyone is different & just because a girl has a vagina doesn't mean she is incapable of being loyal. His mom had him at a young age with a random Mexican yet he says she's an innocent angel. Anyway, I listed everything that I believe a man should be... but some guys (like Rob) still have some growing up to do. You don't go from being a boy to a man in one day. Some learn eventually & some never learn.

He spends his days selling computers & sending them to the manufacturer to be fixed.
He doesn't have access to the internet where he works. They slave him all day with no breaks.
Even when he has his degree he'll most likely spend days building & taking computers apart rather than posting on the coli.
He's very serious about his work & I respect him for that.


& WHY IN THE HELL would I give up my body for someone that isn't all that promising. I care way more about my career & bettering myself then depending on any man & trapping him hoping that he'd stay with me.
Girls these days need to realize that that shyt doesn't work. Guys can leave & they will.

Focus on bettering your self, focus on your degree & your career & then after all of that you can perhaps find a good man, get married, have a family & etc.

Honestly I don't think I have my sh*t together so I can't expect the person I'm with to have theirs ...since I do have someone that is my age and does (Own car, place, and a good job) I know I'm winning in a major way lol

- some sort of financial security and mobility as well as an understanding of saving/investing (gotta have career/financial prospects/goals/achievements/aspirations)
- solid understanding of who they are, they aren't still trying to figure out the basics, we're all always learning things about ourselves, but at a certain point you have to understand and be happy withwho you are at your core
- sense of social, civil, communal, or political responsibility (volunteers time or money to support causes he believes in, shows concern for others, knowledge of US and/or world issues)
- man of his word, and gentleman, and respectful of commitments i.e. respects the woman he's with, not still trying to be a player when he's supposed to be in a relationship, honest, treats his woman like a lady
- no drama - no DUI's, arrests, drug issues, baby mama drama (prefer no kids but of he has a kid, there can be no drama with the mom or a messy BM who's trying to sabotage the new relationship)
- college degree (yes, this is a requirement for me...unless he's diddy lol)
- has an idea what he wants from life and is working toward it (could be better health, marriage, home ownership, starting a business, seeing 100 countries, etc)
