At the beginning of mean streets
Black ppl from inner city London don't talk like white men.

When I used to play COD back back in the day people would think I was Jamaican.

I am Jamaican but you get what I mean.
Because the urban London accent (idk if I'm even making sense when I say that but it's the best I can describe it) is seemingly very influenced by Carribbean culture. I think those accents are cool. I think straight up "proper" is horrendous and ugly.

I have a strong inner city London accent and a unique voice (so I'm told) and couldn't sound posh if I tried - and wouldn't want to. I speak to FB friends through messenger all the time and sound different to what most of them expect. The last time I was in the states back in December people didn't have a problem understanding me, they were more intrigued than anything else because it's not something they hear everyday.

Keyboard slang.

Wouldn't be used in actual conversation from a brit.
I use it all the time I know more AA mostly NY slang than yardie slang cause I ain't from London and don't listen to much grime.

People in the North of England think I sound like I'm from London. Some people said I sounded American:mjlol:.

I don't hate British accents, but I'm not head over heels for them either. I prefer Southern accents more mostly because that's what I'm used to.
