Yep!! Boy, ppl kept blaming Spo. I never understood the Spo hate. :russ:
Spo was definitely stubborn at times on how he wouldn't change from his set rotation
Lets not forgot about all those classic third quarter meltdown and how the offense would struggle
I was never on the fire Spo train to me just like players improve and reinvent themselves i think Spo has to the offense has never looked this good or had so many open looks.

Imma draw the line on this Winslow shyt  Riles didnt want to trade Winslow, he wasn’t paying lip service when he said “that one hurts” after the trade. Dion tanked his value so much that there was no other option, we had to attach an asset to move him and aside from the rookie deals that weren’t going to be moved Winslow was the only contract with value. You’d have to peep Zach Lowe’s most recent article he touched on Riley’s level of disgust with Waiters and it was :wow: I dont think he’s ever been more disgusted by any player ever, he fukked up royally
I think Riley hated Whiteside too
I was just wondering what the hell happened to Chris Silva? :wtf: I could’ve sworn he gave us some good minutes earlier in the year and he just disappeared, is he hurt?
Silva broke his pubic bone :dame:
they thought it was a strained groin but ended up being worse

Well I been knew bam was the future for years. I could see it from the start. But I was hoping for more of a twin towers things. And I was happy when Hassan got traded so we could get a fresh start. But after seeing Him in Portland I realize dude just has no passion for the game. We can't have that here. Jimmy Butler was the best thing to happen for this young core.
Whiteside is just not in the right era for him. He is kind of clumsy and slow footed and he is one of those guy who either needs to get a basket or big block early to keep him in the game.

His downfall was when he started getting those nagging leg injuries and letting Embiid shyt talking get in his head and then dude confidence went to shyt. Him wanting a Embiid gimme me the ball role was his download he wanted a bigger roll but Spo and crew in the end knew that wasn't him.

idk what happen to his game dude would hit that 15 foot jump he worked with OG Juwan then he just stop taking them.

I hope we’re done seeing Nunn this series. He’s been awful. Olynyk too. If they’re not hitting shots they’re useless. I’d like to see a lot more DJJ minutes instead of them. May even prefer some Leonard spot minutes if Kanter is in. That’s how bad KO has been

38% from the field :sadcam:
27% on 3s :why:
Gave up 60 pts in the paint

We only lost by 11 and it was cut down to 5 at one point. :shaq2:

Play better defense, Jimmy gets involved earlier, and knock down our shots. Very winnable series.

Jimmy used to be a midrange killa and all of them shots were there last night but he kept getting in deep and kicking out for the 3. If they gonna put smart on dragic then jimmy gotta attack his matchup

KO is due for a 15pt 6ast game. If he can just play like he’s 7ft, we can use him in some of those lineups with Bam. Use him as a big body to take the brunt of those Celtics drives to the rim. Bam was playing tentatively on defense as the game went on, because he was in foul trouble. It basically left Boston with a layup line at the rim, which hindered our comeback. If Kelly can give us something offensively, while just being a big body in the paint to eat up some of those Boston layups at the rim, that can do wonders for Bam down the stretch. Also KO is a decent passer/finder. I just need one KO game. Like the last game we played against Boston in August 4th, where he had 15/8 against Heyward, when KO was inserted into the starting lineup. If Boston is gonna exploit our mismatches all game when they go small, we might as well put some size out there with Bam to start the game. Bam and KO are decent and quick enough to defend Boston on these switches. I don’t see how KO can be much more of a defensive liability than Duncan. As tough as Duncan played last night defensively, he kept getting overpowered when the Celtics would cut to the rim. If Boston is gonna play like that, might as well have a big body out there who can deter their shot, besides just putting all the pressure on Bam. It worked a month ago in our last regular season meeting with Boston. And it can work if we’re gonna play the zone. We got 4 days to figure it out. I trust Spo.

:wow:
