There has to be a point where that contract becomes eligible to be voided if he's suspended a certain amount or some shyt
28 mil sitting on the bench for 2 years and you can’t trade it. That’s the shyt I was talking about 3 years ago. Should’ve never signed his ass

What's done is done but let this be a lesson to Riley and Andy: Never give a non-star player a player-option on a contract. EVER!

Like i said before i didnt have a problem with the per year salary ($12M) he got on the contract. That was the going rate for veterans with similar production. But my problem was how many years we gave him (4) and the player-option in the end. It should have been 3 years, with the 3rd year being a team option. Same for JJ's and TJ's contracts.

Like, see how we gave Winslow and Josh Richardson their extensions with team-options on the last year of their deal? That's exactly how you should negotiate with non-star players. Miami Heat Team Payroll | Basketball-Reference.com

Bradley Beal extended his contract with the Wizards. He won't be available in the free agent market.
He can still demand a trade. Remember how Paul George resigned with OKC and then bolted a year later?
I would like to see the Heat invest in improving the Center and PF positions. We need some depth in those areas.
Me too but who's out there? I'd love someone with an expiring contract who's a shot blocker to help Bam but most of the ones that are out there have contracts you want no part of since Riley is still aiming for cap-space in 2 years in order to have a shot at Giannis.

Giannis is still a pipe dream at this point but i could see it happening.
Serge Ibaka is going to be a free agent. He can be a great acquisition in the next offseason if the Heat pursues him.

He is a very athletic player that can post, shoot the three, and can play defense. His talent is a perfect match for Spo's system. He is averaging 12.2 pts and 6.9 boards while playing 22 minutes a game.

He wont be as expensive as the star players that will be available in the market such as Andre Drummond and Anthony Davis.
I always liked Ibaka when he was with the Thunder. But then he got to a point where he started to fall in love with the 3pt line. I think i'd prefer a rim protector and rebounder

I dont know. It's been so long since i seen him play i dont know what his game is like at this point.

We should get Favors from new orleans. Good Defender and Rebounder and they need to get rid of him so Zion, Okafor and Hayes can play

I wanna see us healthy man. Why JJ don't play?

Justise and Drag woulda helped the flow too.

This the first game where Herro's arms looked short
Wasn’t round the team during all of training camp and preseason
When Spo get a set rotation it’s pretty hard to get him to change his mind
JJ is in the doghouse and I think it’s the same kinda with Dion he doesn’t have a role/fit when we are healthy

The majority of the free agents are going to be PF/C. Davis will likely get his contract extended with the Lakers in the summer. Are chances of drawing him into Miami is very slim.
I like Andre Drummond but he can't shoot for shyt. Him and BAM can't be on the floor at the same time.
Marc Gasol can be a great pickup that's if he doesn't commit to the Raptors.
Cousin can be a great assest. His market value is affordable. We probably can offer him a deal that he can't refuse without bringing out the Brink trunk, but his health has been in shambles for the past two season. We can't continue go on another season with injury prone players. Our history of injuries has been holding the Heat back from progressing.
I'm going to stand with Serge as the best player to pick up for the Heat unless another great option comes up.
