Well, it would be 1 year and then the team belongs to Josh since it sounds like Bron is gone no matter what.
That's the only bright spot I can find right now.

I don't think their GM wants too and they told Gambo (the guy who leaked Jackson had a promise) they're not trading Jackson. But I think they eventually cave.
Im not sure they Cave but a Bledsoe/Warren/Criss or Bender may get the ball moving also.

I know JJ loves LeBron but gut feeling tells me they'd scrap a few times. JJ is a hot head. Could see LeBron getti ng pissed at him and Josh not falling back
It's possible. But I think he'd listen. He's the perfect mentor especially off the court for Josh.
