I don’t go too hard on these orgs because I have seen them do good. But let’s be real, Kyrie isn’t some poor kid on the street nor is he trying to preach to those people in any material way. If he was someone from the trenches or tapped into that world I would get it. But what’s really annoying people is this is a different era my guy. This is 2022 where anti-intellectualism is at an all time high and being disseminated through social media. People are just at a point where they have very little patience any more following the trump years, this uncle shyt and anti vaxxers and other right wing propaganda. This isn’t a vacuum. People want a cultural reset and people with platforms like Kyrie are especially likely to piss people off. Kanye West has people saying he made some points. He’s an idiot. I think if this was 2007 no one would care but something broke in America during that second Obama term.
