I mean his chances are so low that I can't even imagine what the reaction from most would be, even outside of Higher Learning. Yes, I think he is going to get crushed that badly.

well I'll just be a nerdy HL dikk, and point out that his chances are not very low
personally I thought Bush would lose both times, so I find it hard to be too confident about the outcome of any election
Whoever thought bush was going to lose his re-election was on that dust. Right in the middle of a war AND a weak Democratic candidate? Come on now

Tell me how kerry was an afterthought in the initial primaries and then all of. Sudden the famous dean scream controversy occurs and Kerry gets vaulted to the candidacy

Consider how bad Bush was...the fact that he STILL got more votes and carried so many more states shows how weak Kerry was. Chances are Obama is going to win Ohio and Florida again...thats 47 votes right there lol.
Kerry had no shot IMO even against a president many were not confident in.
I understand how the electoral system works
but with numbers that close, I don't think it's fair to say things couldn't have easily gone the other way. it is easy to claim to have been confident in something after the fact though...

To be honest the lack of enthusiasm by Democratic voters, especially Blacks, let Bush back in office, it shouldn't have been that close. Kerry was a decent candidate but the Karl Rove attack machine was able to discredit Kerry despite him being a war veteran and a having 30 years of experience on foreign policy.
Wrap up my business here and move to Europe
Read up on Europe's economy breh...you might want to reconsider.
