I don't care how hot the lyrics are, I'm getting tired of trap/drill beats PERIOD.

Gimme something like this and I'm good:

I mean , you literally hear the same hi-hat drum rolls coming out of every car. Roll through any apartment complex in the hood that's all you hear. Every song. Even R&B songs.

Whenever I hear it it puts me in a dark mood :scust:

I hate music that sounds like this. Not saying it’s bad but that genre ain’t for me. I guess it’s from growing up in NYC. This sounds like something you listen to at Joshua tree or Hawaii.

Everyone is a rapper so I’m sure a good amount of rappers have the ability to somewhat do the same thing to a slightly lesser degree.

A lot of rappers dumb down their music to sell.

Kids aren’t trying to hear some lyrical miracle shyt over a hard beat. They trying to turn up to some hot shyt. Pop Smoke used to say the same 5-6 lines in his music, but his music gets you hype, that’s what they want.

There's nothing lyrical miracle about KRS's rhyme here.
