There has to be a concerted industry effort to keep these older rappers completely silent, so these young druggie/bad influence rappers can have all the exposure.

Think about it, there's probably a decent number of fire trap beats on SoundCloud that are free. And whoever made the beat would let it go for free or super cheap for exposure.

So what's stopping some of these older rappers from just rapping the hell out of a trap beat and putting it out on the net?
None of this post makes sense:pachaha:

Most older rappers are completely silent because they just stop working. Ghostface had a great run of albums in the last decade. There are plenty of older rappers that eat just being active

And "what's stopping these older rappers from just hopping on some trap beats?" Is not a sound strategy. Who honestly wants to hear that shyt? I will never listen to that KRS shyt again:mjlol:

Everything is all about curation. One of the major things Roc Marciano did was create an ecosystem for older boom bap rappers to eat. A visual aesthetic, a particular style of beats and sampling, artwork and so on. This was further elevated by Griselda, who has given a second wind to a lot of older rappers who previously were in the abyss with no direction

It's not about "why can't these 50 year old rappers just find some trap beats, that should work" it's about "what's the best possible aesthetic and style we can craft for these 50 year old rappers to effectively display their artistry?"
