you are a textbook example of a stubborn close minded liberal. you can't bring up a valid argument without insulting my intelligence cause i disagree with your stance. keep telling yourself you are smarter when you aren't even open to a dialogue about the subject. could you actually attempt to answer why spending more money for better foods for a certain religion is even close to being "fair"? this is prison were talking about, no one there gets treated good. im fairly sure you don't even know what it would involve to cook kosher food in a prison. for it to truly be kosher they would have to have separate kitchen equipment including oven, spoons, spatulas, everything, nothing that touches normal food can be used and the whole thing has to be overseen by a rabbi. but yeah im the one that doesnt know what im talking about. we really should spend 100's of thousands if not millions of dollars to remodel prison kitchens for a couple picky eaters. :dustoff:

Utensils (including pots and pans and other cooking surfaces) that have come into contact with meat may not be used with dairy, and vice versa. Utensils that have come into contact with non-kosher food may not be used with kosher food.

Their religion requires them not to murder people or commit the crimes to end up in prison in the first place. But that got thrown out of the window. Let them starve to death and bury them in a hole and keep the circle of life going.
IMO, they should have just killed this guy after they knew for sure that he murked his parents. That is one of the most disrespectful things you can do- harm your mother who birth you.
Besides that point.... There are Jews and Muslims in Prison for non violent crimes.... they shouldn't have to poison themselves or not be allowed religious freedom. Unless of course, prison in the US = slavery.

It is poisonous to everyone else as well. We just have been brain washed to not notice.. plus modern medical and scientific advancement make it so that we can deal with it.
The cost isn't too much more... if we were worried about tax dollars we wouldn't have a system geared towards incarceration rates > the rest of the modern world combined.
If prisoners want their religion respected in every single way possible, they shouldn't be killing people and committing bad stuff
