Who you know fresher than Hov'? Riddle me that
The rest of y'all know where I'm lyrically at
Can't none of y'all mirror me back
Yeah, hearin' me rap is like hearin' G Rap in his prime

Ah-yo, I represent Queens, on crime scenes a murder machine
Put M-16's in nikkaz spleens
So head for the hills, nikka cause when I get ill
It's blood spilled for real
I aim my fukkin steel and shoot to kill
So grab your bodyshield get ready for the dustin
The biscuit that I'm clutchin
Puffin like cess but that's the fukkin dutchman
Buckin at all you sucka cluckin nikkaz that want the ruckus
We'll be three nikkaz who's clappin but we ain't applaudin you motherfukkers
Keep my mack hid up under black t-shirts to crack lids
Ain't gotta go rush to Toys-R-Us to get your Cabbage Patch Kid
Once I let the laser beams gleam and the red dots are seen,
Your whole team is gettin blown to smithereens
Queens on the motherfukkin map nikka we stay strapped
In fact I let a AK cap push your toupee back
Runnin' with mad sons gunnin' shyt up and leave your hit up for the funds
nikkaz better stick to they guns

My barber in high school put me onto kool G rap. he played the great train robbery for me. Gave me that tape(this was like mid 00s 2 LMAO.)

I became a FAN.

never heard of him prior. hands down one of the GOATs that nobody knows.

edit: I got that album 4,5,6 years later. That shyt had some of the hardest cuts ever.

this song is so nostalgic 2 me. I was at my worst and use to bump this and it was so motivating 2 me. shyt had me ready to cry n die at the same time.

its a shame cause no1 knows who he is. he really need an unsung. I got 2 speak with breh and he was humble as fukk on air on a radio show. Once I got put on 2 him I realized how his influence is in all my GOATs DNA.

You are right, it's a shame. People give all the credit to Rakim for changing the lyrical landscape of Hip Hop, but it was really Kool G Rap. No one was using multi-syllabic rhymes and advanced rhyme patterns before Kool G Rap. He laid the blueprint for Nas, Jay-Z, Raekwon, Biggie, AZ, Big Pun, etc etc

Nah I love Rakim, but you gotta give credit where it's due

Rakim helped changed the cadence of how Rap was delivered. Before him, rappers were screaming at the top of their lungs for no reason lol
