Like man I'm playing silent hill 3 and I'm having a hard time getting through the first level. I can't even imagine playing the 4th. Franchise has so much more potential to explore.

Konami went all in with pachinko machines and other non video game ventures and said fukk video games.

Then COVID hit and those non video game ventures took a hit, especially pachinko machines.

if this works how they say then Konami and Kojima don't really have to deal with each other at all. If he blows the budget on it its sonys concern, and Konami is pretty much gonna be hands off with them licensing out these IP. Kojima basically gets to continue to work as an independent contractor and doesn't really have to answer to anyone but sony .
