The game last night gonna change the narrative of Kobe in his twilight. That muthafukka ain't go quiet. That shyt was one of the nastiest, coldest muthafukkin performances I've seen. Defiance personified. That shyt was William Wallace screaming freedommmmmmmmmm! :damn: That shyt was Denzel yelling "King Kong ain't got shyt on me!" :damn: That shyt was Latifah setting it the fukk off, taking all them bullets...and still struggling. :wow: That shyt was Radio Raheem fighting for his life while them pigs choked him out. :wow: What a way to go out. What a fighter. What a champion. I was in awe, brehs. Still am. Still got the fukking chills. One of the greatest sports moments I've been lucky enough to witness.

It's easily become top two Kobe moments for me with the other being the game he tore his Achilles in. That whole stretch of him over pushing himself, repeatedly getting hurt, still dragging himself to his feet until it tore, and then still managing to get back to his feet, knock down the free throws to tie the game, and still walk off on his own? He was on the floor trying to roll the tendon back down his leg to help stand back up. Defiance embodied. Those two games to me are a microcosm of what made him great, and just as importantly, so compelling to watch. Even though everyone told him He's only human, he refused to believe it. Really amazing to watch.

I've hated this c00n for 20 years ever since I first saw him in the McDonald's All American game..

Last night he actually had me cheering for him and tearing up a little at the end of the 4th quarter

:to:

I'm going to miss hating on you Bean

So to my kobe stans, that aren't laker fans, where do we go? There's not a similar player in the league, Derrick rose was almost there, but the injuries. There is no cold killer who is also (poised to be) a top 5 player.

Laker fans, how y'all feeling about your rebuilding (depleted) team that's (at this point) starless, esp with the clips sitting across the hall star studded? Y'all in for a long turnaround :whew:

For those of you that were just Kobe fans, there's no one like him, but there is one that plays with almost as much fire as him:

Said it in another thread, but when Westbrook and Durant split up, it'll be :youngsabo:
