Let’s get that 10 hour video of LeBronze deferring to role players in the final minutes and seconds

Bron has several more playoff game-winners (11 to 7) and more playoff buzzer-beaters (5 to 1) than Kobe does.

In fact, Bron has more playoff buzzer-beaters than any other NBA team in history outside of the Lakers and Celtics. :whew:

Also, this stat was November 2021, so he's surpassed that one by now too:

Kobe is a legend. Lebron is a legend. MJ is a legend. All 3 of them have made clutch shots and game winners

Kobe is probably the most clutch player in sports history. Its not hard to stick to the subject of this thread
:childplease:

We literally have mounds of data and highlights/games to show that this is just blatantly not true. No need to lie about a great player

And yet no-one is taking him over Kobe for a last shot. No one.

But that wasn't the post I was responding to. The comment claimed that LeBron just defers to role players in the clutch. Pretty incredible that Kobe is known for taking far more late-game shots than anyone else in NBA history, while LeBron is know for "deferring" when his teammates are open, yet Bron somehow ends up making more late game clutch shots than Kobe does.

You can still believe Kobe is the best at late game shots. He certainly tries to take the most difficult shots more regularly, and they look more spectaular when they go in, and that drives a lot of narrative. But jumping off that narrative to try to claim LeBron doesn't take and make an enormous # of clutch shots is ridicuous.

He literally has more playoff game-winners than any other player in history. He literally has more game-winning buzzer beaters than any other player in history. He has approximately ONE HUNDRED game-tying or go-ahead field goals in the final minute. How is that even possible if he is always deferring?

It’s mad selfish to put the ball in a role player’s hands in the last five seconds of a game. I’ve always despised how Bron Stans try to gaslight people into thinking that this is the right play. Unless your role player is right under the basket wide open, that’s an unfair thing to do.
